The Gentle Barn Foundation is a unique animal sanctuary that rehabilitates and gives shelter to abused and neglected animals who, in turn work with therapists and counselors to help connect abused and neglected children with similar stories. 

In this documentary short, The Gentle Barn teamed up with Mercy for Animals during an undercover investigation to rescue four baby cows from a Texas dairy rearing farm.

In collaboration with Telepictures, Joey was tasked with documenting one of the Foundation's rescues as content for The Ellen Show. The short film garnered millions of impressions and was recognized for its ability to convey an important animal rights issue without traumatizing the viewer.
